God – We believe there is one God, manifested in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, John 10:30, John 1:1-5, 14, 2 Corinthians 3:17)
Jesus Christ – We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He existed from the beginning, came to earth through a virgin birth, and was fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, was crucified, buried, arose three days later and ever lives seated at the right hand of God, interceding for mankind. He will return to rule and reign in power and glory. (John 1:1, Luke 1:35, Colossians 1:13-19, Acts 1:9-11, Mark 16:19, Hebrews 7:25)
Holy Spirit – We believe Holy Spirit dwells in the hearts of all believers. He gives us the power to live the Christian life. He is the comforter. He guides us into truth. He convicts of sin. He exalts Jesus. (John 15:26, 1 Corinthians 2:13, Luke 12:12, John 16: 7-15, Ephesians 1:13)
The Bible – We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the final authority in determining what we believe and how we live. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, Hebrews 4:12, Romans 10:17)
Salvation – We believe that because of sin, all people are separated from God and in need of salvation. The free gift of salvation is made possible through Jesus Christ, His death on the cross, and His bodily resurrection from the dead. We believe salvation is available to all, received by grace through faith in the Gospel. We believe we are regenerated by Holy Spirit and can live the Spirit filled life. (Romans 10:9-10, Titus 3:5-7, John 20:30-31, 2 Corinthians 7:10, 1 John 5:12, John 3:3-5)
The Great Commission – We believe it is the mission of the church to advance the kingdom of God by making disciples of all nations. It is the responsibility of every believer to carry out the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1:8)
The Church – We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ. The Church is a body living in relationship and harmony under the direction of the head, Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians. 6:15, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Romans 12:4-5; Ephesians 2:19-22, Ephesians 4: 11-16, 1 Peter 2:4-5)
